They were the justices. They had the spirit. The fool to attack them by an unfair way The following are turns from which you are crushed by the truck.

kurgen....I don't think there's more than a handfull who support the Dixies just because they were against Bush. They are a talented group with many succesfull cd's. Country music fans I believe are gone as far as the Dixies are concerned...they proved to be less than desirable fans.

what they went through proves there needs to be work done on the supposed "freedom of speech". yeah you can say what you want, but your gonna loose everything if its not whats accepted.Dixie chicks rock

Even though this was inspired by everything that spun off of the "incident" its the perfect pissed, f off anthem.

It's pathetic that ANYONE would refrain from exercising their First Amendment right to free speech in fear of negative repercussion. "If you believe in freedom of speech, you believe in freedom of speech for views you don't like. Goebbels was in favour of freedom of speech for views he liked. So was Stalin. If you're in favour of freedom of speech, that means you're in favour of freedom of speech precisely for views you despise." ~~ Noam Chomsky

As in like, we need a reason for the lives of soldiers who died, or do we have to go on inventing things? But for some reason I like the Dixie Chics regardless of the political hoopla and controversy anyway..so, do I need a reason? Music should be open to interpretation. Do you need a reason?

Nice vioces, good musicians. I hope that the Pop fans keep liking them after their anti-bush schtick wears off. They are DONE as far as most country music fans are concerned.

That chick has a set of stone ones. Coming out against Bush for Iraq before it was popular wasn't a good career move and she did it anyway. Does she have a sister?
