I agree with you. Not all artists who are going to make a name for themselves through their dedication to their love for music world wide neccessarily has to go through Oprah. Jane has been doing fine all these years through her hard work, perserverance and unwavering belief in herself. In the last 3 years, she went from an ordinary girl to a Famous Chinese Superstar, if she wants to expand her horizons internationally in the future, she's already well-connected w/ David Foster & Others n d US.

I don't think one is better than the other and certainly don't think Charice is ugly. All that being said, you do have a point. This girl seems a little more cultured and versatile with a weaker but beautiful voice in certain ranges.I hope that Oprah does call her but also hope she stays true to herself. Oprah is not going to hurt her career if she does, but if her voice is beautiful it really won't matter.

charice is ugly(facially, so dnt get mad) and her voice is powerful. But its just strong, she hasn't got as much verstility. And she has no culture, after a while, i guarantee, people are gona get sick of her cos they'll quite simply get bored...I HOPE this chinese girl DOESNT get sucked in by oprah, just for her sake. At least she has uniquity.
