haha you're not getting it. he looks up and it cuts to black because he doesn't see anything because he's DEAD. the music also cuts. he doesn't have to look at the bathroom to get shot from it. but i guess only an idiot would make it THAT obvious.

I doubt this. They wont make it so obvious. They just wanted viewers to think that it was the man in the bathroom. But only an idiot would make it that obvious. Besides, you see at the end when the girl entered the diner? Tony looked at the HER, NOT AT THE BATHROOM. Logically, she was probably the one in Tony's mind. Also, just because a screen is black it means death. They just wanted to cut the ending short to make us think. They could have made it a white screen or purple or red, or orange

i don't understand why you don't see the concept tony is there in a place he loves as a family and there are peeps in there who could or want to kill him that was the way he lived never knowing when it would happen and it never did simple yet brilliant

To be honest i hated this fucking ending because there was nothing explained when we have watched the fuckin thing for soo many years then the end comes and we DONT GET TO FUCKIN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...its bullshit.

With meadow theres something there and it has nothing to do with tony getting killed.. my assumption is that shes pregnant, she even had an anxious look as she entered the diner. At one point while shes trying to park the car she swears..its like shes in a rush.. What stood out for me is when carm was telling tony is medow was at the docters to change her birth control pills. I think tony does get shot..but he doesnt die.

its the guy in the bathroom that kills tony. watch how through the whole scene its from tony's point of view (each time the bell rings tony looks up and sees who comes in) when tony looked up at the end he should have seen meadow, but instead it cuts to black (death). they need meadow to be entering because it leaves her seat in the booth empty. that way the guy can shoot him from his right side (bathroom).

I like the way the Sopranos ended because it still has people talking about the ambiguity of the scene, and thats the beauty of it, the ending can be interpreted in so many ways

This is just my assumption..i could be wrong as hell. But Carm said that Medow went to the docters to change her pills,also to me Medow seemed reallly anxious when she was trying to park the car..and she had a really anxious face as she enetred the diner.. my assumption is that shes pregnant, and tony does not die.. i think theres a couple people there that are undercover and he gets arrested. Thats just my assumption..so, guess i'll have to wait and see.

I sure hope the intention of the last scene was tony dies...If not, then the blackout is the biggest prick move ever: it wouldn't symbolize anything relavent to the show.

lanenamutante yea ur right bobby did say tha 2 tony i love tha episode where bobby and tony fight funny as fuk wen tony got tha monopoly piece stuck 2 his face lol and we will never know if tony died he was the main character so in my opinion i think it was left 4 every1 2 make up there own minds.. i also think they should make a sopranos movie or 1 last episode explaining it wa do u all think
