Your spelling really is shocking, or is that just anger? I'm not fat however, although i find it amusing that you assume i am because i choose not to judge. I am intelligent enough to realise that a person is much more than a sum of their parts. And as for money, our (British) Government has just wasted £200,000 on a party conference in Liverpool, so a fat person using £10,000 to have an operation that may not only save their lives but help them lose weight is the least of my concerns.

This is exactly the problem. You SHOULD care. As a fat person, you have a higher chance of developing unpleasant things like diabetes.

What is outrageous about what I am saying? Do you actually think that fat people are not an excess (no pun intended) financial burden on our health care system? Unlike other health issues (cancer, etc), obesity is almost entirely a function of a persons lack of self control. We should reserve our compassion for those who make no excuses and are actively doing something about their corpulence.

It's true that people should love the way they look regardless of weight, but you also have to remember the health risks you put on yourself. Being overweight is dangerous! I don't understand how fat people can embrace being so overweight when they are on the verge of a heart attack! Stop eating fast food and sweets. Geez.
